The Disrepair Shop was founded in 2024 by Davinity Powis. Inspired by Pop-artist Romero Britto, she loves colour and customising things and just doesn’t do ‘bland’!

She is colourful and creative,  and is usually found behind either a computer, a camera or a spray-can!

The idea for The Disrepair Shop came about after the new denim guitar case she just bought just looked too ‘vanillla’.

With her design skills in professional Mac tools, she soon had bespoke designs laser-etched into stencils, ready to meet her array of spray cans to customise the case.

Soon after finishing her own case, she’s was pleased with comments from members of the public saying the case looked like it had ‘had a bit of a life’!  To Davinity, this was the perfect mix - rock and roll on the outside – yet still mint inside!

Others then took interest in her services too, and boom! The Disrepair Shop was born.
